Second ranked Palo Verde remained unbeaten in division action by jumping out to a 26-12 first quarter advantage against the Aggies and never looked back. Arbor View closed to within six at the half, but the Panthers outscored the visitors 35-30 in the second half to win by eleven, 75-64.
Davion Pearson led PV with a team high 21 points, while Nick Hipwell added 16 and Moses Morgan chipped in with 15. Darrington Banks led the Aggies with a game high 22 points.
The Panthers improved their season record to 9-2 on the year. The Centennial Bulldogs (9-9) enter the Den on Friday night coming off a 60-58 victory over Shadow Ridge after two losses to Cheyenne and Legacy to begin division play.
